Poliplast LTD Took Part in the "Week Without Turnstiles" Career Event

In October 2026, Poliplast LTD joined the nationwide career guidance event "Week Without Turnstiles" by opening the doors of its enterprise to students and schoolchildren.

"Week Without Turnstiles" is a nationwide initiative organized by the Russian Engineering Union. The event is held twice a year and aims to introduce young people to real production, help them with professional self-determination, and raise the profile of engineering and blue-collar professions. For companies, participating in the event is an opportunity to build a talent pool and attract young specialists, while for visitors it is a chance to see production from the inside, talk to employees, and understand which professions are in demand today.

Students from Pskov State University College and Pskov Polytechnic College visited the enterprise on 13 and 15 October. The guests were given a tour of the production facilities and told about the company's history and development, as well as its key areas of work. During the tour, the students were able to see that a graduate of Pskov Polytechnic College works successfully in one of the workshops, applying the professional skills he acquired in practice — this clearly demonstrates the employment and career growth opportunities available at the enterprise. At the end of the visit, the students received memorable souvenirs from Poliplast.

On 26 October, as part of the event, an off-site career guidance meeting for students was held at the Advanced Engineering School of Pskov State University. The speakers were Alexey M. Nikulin, Director of Marketing and PR at Poliplast LTD, and Mikhail B. Semenov, Director of Engineering at Poliplast LTD. The students learned about the technological process of equipment manufacturing, working conditions, internship opportunities, and the mentoring system, as well as how a young specialist can enter the profession and build a successful career path. The guests answered questions about employment, internships, and the requirements for young specialists.
